Job Summary
Do you enjoy providing hands-on support to IT systems? We are currently seeking an IT Technical Support Manager for our dining operations at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. The primary responsibility of the role is providing planning, administration and support for the servers, systems and devices used in the food service operations across a multi-unit university foodservice account.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible, monitor, and maintain total POS Administration, and managing of the POS system
POS Software set-up Operation and Troubleshooting
Hardware Ordering, Inventory, and Audit
IT Architecture - Northwestern and Compass Group including audit mapping between Northwestern and Chartwells
BOOST Set-Up Operation & Troubleshooting
Office Technology Operations
Ad hoc reporting and special projects
Preferred Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or related fields preferred but not required
2+ years of progressive IT experience
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute concurrent tasks independently
Strong Analytical Thinking and Problem-Solving Capabilities.
