Job Summary
CATERING BARTENDER - LEVY AT FISERV FORUM & GATHER
$20/hr, Union Position (Part Time)
Mission

Major Areas of Responsibility
Service
oCompletes steps of service to ensure utmost guest satisfaction
oUnderstands and can describe menu offerings, packaging/presentation and pricing
oEstablishes rapport with guests/members
oEffectively uses suggestive and upselling techniques
oAlways exceeds guest expectations
oAdheres to location appearance guidelines
oActs with a sense of urgency and provides friendly, efficient service to teammates and guests
oDelivers properly prepared beverages in a timely manner
oResponds to guest needs and requests
Controls
oMaintains service areas
oFollows cash handling and tip reporting guidelines
oAccurately uses POS system
oEmploys good safety and sanitation practices
oFollows responsible alcohol service policies
oPractices proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipment
oFollows Core Levy beverage recipes and specifications
oThoroughly completes all station set-up and breakdown responsibilities
oCommunicates guest issues to management
oAdheres to Levy Restaurants Company guidelines as stated in team member training manual and employee handbook
Team
oDisplays a positive attitude toward teammates and managers
oHelps fellow team members whenever necessary
oAlways on time and ready to perform all required duties
Job Requirements
o2-3 years of experience bartending in a high-volume capacity preferred
oLifts and transports up to 100 lbs.
oFrequently reaches, lifts, stoops, bends and cleans to maintain service area
oWalks and stands during entire shift
oEnglish reading, writing, and math skills required
oPossible job hazards include, but are not limited to; slips, trips, falls, burns, cuts and strains
oMust be of legal age to serve alcohol and possess any required certifications to do so
oAble to communicate effectively with managers, guests and teammates by speaking and
comprehending English
