Job Summary

Serves as point of contact, supporting all payroll functions and providing resolutions to all inquiries and/or discrepancies. Focus on data entry into payroll tool to ensure accurate payment of union specific items. Position will also include reconciliation of paid time off. Plays a crucial role in ensuring that employees are paid accurately and on time while complying with all relevant laws and regulations. Oversee all, but not limited to, time keeping, data entry, reporting, record keeping, audits, process improvement, training and compliance, and collaboration.

MAJOR/MINOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

? Payroll processing system (MyStaff) managing: access enabling/disabling, team assignment updates, timeclock access, balance reporting, timesheet verification, edits and audits, unauthorized timesheets, off cycles, ticket submitting for discrepancies, ESS mobility,

? Payroll Communications and updates

? Discrepancy Ticket management

? Reporting - AWR, Group Summary Report, Labor

? New Hire Managing

? Tablet managing/ Requesting

? Auditing: LOA, Holiday Pay and eligibility

? Financial Impacts

? HR support - Final Pays, LOA support, Promotions

? Monthly data and performance

? Ongoing training (payroll system Training)

? Partnering with Compass strategic team with user feedback

? Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Union Environment

? Union Accounting support- Dues Backup processing, BUL

? Union Support - Weekly meetings

? Training Pay/Bartending/Forklift and tracking

? Dues processing

? Part-time compliance, no Benefits

? CBA changes pertaining to MyStaff

? Guarantee pay

Minimum Qualifications

? 2 year college degree in Business/Accounting and/or 3 years of experience

Working in Payroll

? Strong partnership skills

? Able to dynamically and creatively problem solve

? Adept at managing multiple internal requests and deadlines

? Able to shift priorities for self and team on short notice

? Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word and Outlook

? Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently

? Bilingual a plus
