Job Summary
Responsible for collecting and organizing all financial information, paperwork collected from units
Complies with audit standards and requirements
Resolves various accounting and reconciliation issues
Handles financial reports - monthly, quarterly & annual reports to include monthly close
Maintain cashier audits and over/short logs
Maintain inventory and cost control procedures
Verifies and posts details of business transactions, such as funds received, disbursed, and deposited. Transfers totals to spreadsheets and into the accounting system.
Prepares invoices, account statements, reports, and other records and reviews for accuracy
Monitors client Purchase Order balances and communicates potential shortfalls in a timely manner
Monitors accounts receivable to ensure that payments are up to date; codes and inputs data (e.g., inventories, cash collections) for inclusion in the company’s financial reports
Input payables, CPOs, commissary and other transfers into the accounting system
Reviews vendor account statements, researches outstanding invoices or credits
Reviews completed week ending file with Site Controller
Communicate accurately, honestly and in a timely manner with Clients, vendors and Bon Appétit/Compass accounting personnel
Responsible for managing all cash handling procedures.
Oversees employee vacation accrual and sick balances and ensures managers weekly submit STAFF time sheet confirmation report signed by every employee.
Answers payroll questions from managers and hourly staff.
Discusses any accounting problem areas with GM.
Partners with Site and/or Regional Controller to manage all-site revenue tracking.
Partners with Site and/or Regional Controller to monitor client PO balances and communicates potential shortfalls to GM.
Partners with On Site or Regional Controller to create all Statistic, Quarter and Yearly reports for General Manager and client’s review.
Must be able to produce future projections based on assumptions provided and current run rates.
Access client’s budget and card systems to generate reports.
Maintain tracking for KPIs and client budget.
Analyze data and provide reports, including weekly variance report.
Handles all Credit and Debit Card issues.
Acts as contact for Vault.
